Gah! No!
Early in the pregnancy, when the fetus is very small, the doctor cannot do an ultrasound through the tummy. To do an ultrasound, the doctor inserts an ultrasound wand into the vagina. Husband Protector Bob thought: Gosh, that must be uncomfortable for her! Horny Bob thought: Hmmm, it's getting crowded in there. There's not going to be any room for me for a while. Geek Engineer Bob thought: Wow! This ultrasound machine is way cool! Even at 8 weeks, you can already see the baby's head, face, arms and hands with finger buds, and an itty bitty heart pumping away. Cool!
