Hey everybody,

I'm going to London and San Francisco next month. I already know what to visit in London, and although SF's is a planned trip, I was wondering if any of you are familiar with the city and would like to share your suggestions on interesting places and stuff Cool

Really? Wow. Well, I have no idea yet. It's gonna be an organized trip so I guess they're gonna take us to the main touristic areas such as the Golden Gate, etc. I just wanted to know if there is something worth seeing, but not really meant for tourists Very Happy

I imagine your tour will go to Golden Gate Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, and Chinatown. I don't know how many days you have available or what you like. We have 2 very large art museums, a natural history museum, 2 aquariums, and a science museum. There are ferries that travel in San Francisco Bay, tours of Alcatraz, City Hall, downtown, and lots of neighborhoods. There are restaurants with food from many different countries and cultures. One place that might be interesting is the Cable Car Museum (you can check out the website via Google) where you can see how the Cable Cars run. There are a lot of little museums too. I hope it doesn't rain too much while you are here!

Thank you, Lorikeet. I was told there's even a Catalan restaurant there! I lost the link to their site, though.

Tell me if it's good if you go! (And if it's expensive! I bet it's expensive.)

Too bad you didn't wanna go to PE. I would definitely take you there if you happen to change your mind. Wink Now Ghirardelli is still on the list. And there's a famous Thai restaurantT in the city, where you have "gender illusionists" as they called it as your waitresses.

You can also go to Emeryville to see Pixar. Unfortunately, you can only see the gate since they don't allow tourists to get inside their studio. If you don't mind taking pictures of a gate, then I'll take you there. It's like 5 minutes away from where I live. Cool

Have taste Chinese food, German food, Spanish food, French food, but I have never tasted any Catalan food. These pictures seem very inviting.
