Yes, i also read a lot, but at the moment i dont have enough time to read - school has just started after the x-mas-holidas and the teachers make us work.. Thats stupid..
Its so cool that you speak german - how long do you speak it? I also speak a little bit french, but i am afraid to say that i dont speak any finish..

Hallo! Wie geht's? I have studied about 5 years german. I love it! German sounds so good!
I listen to many kind of music. Christina Aguilera, Nightwish and Rammstein are my favourites. What about yours? I have danced many years and many styles, but now i'm dancing oriental dancing. How long have you played the piano?
Do you like school? Usually it's ok, but this year has been very hard... because this is the last year in this "normal" school and then we go to gymnasium or somewhere.
Do you like to speak french? Is it difficult? I don't have ICQ:(
Tschss,

wow, the kinds of music you listen to are very different and thats really cool! i often hear people saying: "I love punk and rock! ... pop is such a *beep*!" but i think its cool to listen to many styles. i also listened to christina aguilera, but now i dont put the record - "stripped" - so often in my cd-player. just sometimes... i really like a few songs by her - "fighter" and "cant hold us down" are so wonderful and during listening to them i feel the power in the music and i feel stronger..
i know just one song by nightwish - its called "nemo" and it was in the german charts a year or so ago. i think the singer has a very good voice, how wonderful she can sing!
i also just know one song by rammstein: "engel". i know a few people who listen to rammstein very much and love them, so a friend gave me this song. its beautiful, through i usually dont like the music so much.
I love the red hot chili peppers (do you know them? maybe their newer songs: "demi california" or "tell me baby"?), a few german bands: "die rzte" und "die toten hosen", bands in our area which arent famous (yet): "milo", "creep", "audiosport". i also like evanescence, through their music makes me kind of depressive and i just listen to them if i feel bad.. well, i dont like that just their singer amy lee is so famous and always in the foreground... through, i think shes quite pretty with her long black hear
oh, by the way: i love christina aguileras new song: "hurt" this song is so beautiful!! and her voice is just wow...
well i do love a lot of music but i just cant think of more right now...
cool, oriental dancing.. that sounds really cool. what else have you danced?
I play the piano since.. i think 2 years or something like that. thats not so long, i know, but i love it through starting at zero has been difficult: to know much about music and have to start playing slowly with easy songs.
Well, usually i also like school; its the place i spend much time because i have to. i meet my friends and usually we have a lot of fun - and then we learn something for free ok, i like learning - but not this kind of learning by heart and such a stuff.. ah, im already on a gymnasium and this is our last year we really have to do and then we have last exams (prfungen?) and we go to the oberstufe (part of the gymnasium). after that we do our ABI and then we can go to university. well i think you know this already but i just wanted to say that all we do right now at school counts for the exams and if we fail we arent allowed to do ABI.
well, i like french although our french teacher is kind of stupid and we dont learn enough. we dont really speak it and thats really stupid. i would like to speak this language really good and fluently but i cant. i just speak a little bit..
Well, i think learning german is more difficult than learning french, but the easiest language is english. i had first latin so i think french isnt that hard for me to learn because french and latin have a few things in common.
bye, jana |

Hello Jana! Mir gehts gut. Ich denke dass du kannst mir auf deutsch schreiben. But maybe i wouldn't understand everything. But please write something
Yeah, many finns say german is beautiful language. But if somebody says finnish is beautiful language, i wouldn't believe it. Finnish is strange language
I have Christina Aguilera's stripped-cd too, and the new back to basics. The new cd is really different, but very good too! I like the same songs as you in stripped cd. She has great lyrics.
Do you know that Nightwish is from Finland? They are really good, but unfortunately the boys separated the singer :'( The band doesn't have new singer yet. Yes i know Red Hot Chilipeppers. I have heard few songs from Die Toten Hosen. They are good! What is their best song in your opinnion?
Well, oriental dancing is relaxing and interesting dance. I have danced latino dances, line dance, aerobic... for example. Do you dance anything? I really recommend it. With the piano remember practise makes perfect;)
Without friends school would be more boring. But yes, school is kind of nice. We have different kind of school system.
Do you know anything about finland? It's okei if you don't. You aren't the first person:D

the best Die Toten Hosen song in my opinion? I dont know! There are so many good songs!! I love them unplugged ("Nur zu Besuch - Unplugged im Wiener Burgtheater") and i like their songs.. i dont know, they have many german and many english songs.. - which ones do you like more? The english or the german ones? i like "pushed again", "willkommen in deutschland", "nur zu besuch", "paradies", "unsterblich", "auswrtsspiel", "hier kommt alex", "wnsch dir was", "der letzte kuss", "eisgekhlter bommerlunder", "herz brennt",... "Was zhlt", "bonnie und clyde", "seelentherapie" ... almost all songs! And what do you think?
No i dont dance, but ive danced aerobic, too! its been really cool and i liked it much.. its been with a step - so its been step-aerobic.. i would really like to do it again and i just dont know where... but maybe i will do it again with a friend of mine..
Oh, i dont know so much about finland - i know where it is on the world map, but thats almost all
well, the finish students have been very good at the PISA-test, havent they? ... i cant remember everything, but i think that the people said that german has been so bad and the best country at the PISA-test was finland.. i just dont know..
well, then start telling me a little bit about finland! how is it there? is it cold right now? we dont really have a winter right now, thats really strange. usually we have snow or something like that but this year it wasnt even cold!! of course its all kind of our mistake with the pollution and everything...
bye Jana |

Moi Jana! I understood everything what you said about Nightwish. That made me really happy:)
I can't say my favourite song of die Toten Hosen. I like both english and german songs. Do you know the singer LaFee? Do you like her?
Well, i think finnish students have been good at PISA-tests. I have heard finnish students are the best at reading. I don't understand:)
Do you know what's the capital of Finland? Here is not very cold now, it has been so strange winter. But now we have some snow! At last... but it's icy too...dangerous. Has it rain a lot in Germany? I heard something like that. Do you know which money we have? Do you know do we have a king or a president?
Do you watch movies? What is your favourite?

hey!
its cool that you understood everything! just another prove that the
students are cleverer than the others
well i know LaFee and i dont think that i like her. Shes kind of.. i dont know. i dont like her music and i cant say why shes not likeable to me, but i just dont like her. its not so that i hate her, but if her music is played at the radio i just turn it off - do you like her?
well, it really confueses me that there are a few german students who arent able to read well - its something ive learned and i love to read. its really fun and i cant emagine that there are people who doesnt like it. but i heard a classmate say that she hates reading and she cant concentrate herself so that its really exhausting to her to read one ( ) page. and thats just in german! what will she do if we are older and read in english books and plays?
the capital.. i think helsinki - but i just dont know....
is it right?
it has rained a little bit - it was during the orken kyriell... it was really rainy and the wind was very strong that trees fell down. was the orkan also in finland?
i dont know which money you have but i think you have the euro like we have. the father of a friend works sometimes in helsinki and i think there are euros as money..
you have a president i think! i never heard something about a finnish king or queen..
what do you know about germany?
yes, sometimes i go to the cinema but its quite expenscieve to go there, so i just go there sometimes. the last movie i went to was... i dont know!! maybe pirates of the caribbean - its a really cool movie, isnt it? but the first part was better, i think...
i love Lord of the Rings - such a wonderful movie! the movies of it are all good but i think they all get better. the first part was very good, the second was wonderful and the third one was so great! i really love the Lord of the Rings triology!!
What is your favourite movie?
Lots of Love

Moikka!
Well, the weather wasn't very bad here. It rained, and now it snows. My parents were skiing
I haven't heard songs of Lafee. I just read about her from one magazine. Maybe i should listen to one song as a test (:
I love reading! What kind of books do you read? I read books for youngers and "lighter" books for adults. I can read everything, but history and wars are boring :S
Hey, you know many things about Finland! Helsinki, euro and president are right! Everybody doesn't know them. Have you ever heard anything about our president Tarja Halonen? Do you know how many people live here?
Have you travelled a lot or not at all? I have travelled in Sweden, Norway, Estonia and Germany. Germany and Sweden are the bests!
Well... I don't watch much movies. My favourites are Moulin Rouge and Villi tusina (I don't know what is it in english). I have seen the first part of Pirates of the Caribbean, it was good! But I haven't seen the second. I don't have seen even the Lord of the Rings. So you know, I don't go often to cinema:) Do you like Harry Potters? I have seen the first movie about million times. I'm so fed up!
Oh, I think I know many things about Germany. Ask me some questions and then we see what I really know
Ok for now
Take care

'n Abend, Johanna
Oh right now its snowing here, too.. but i dont think that you could go skiing because its not that much snow..
oh i love books in general! Well, i prefer fantasy books ("Harry Potter" is okay, but there are also better books..) The last fantasy book i read was called "Twiligt" (its the first part) and "New Moon" by Stephanie Meyer (i hope i wrote her name right ).. it was a very beautiful and exciting story about a girl falling in love with a vampire.. It is very.. i just kept on reading and i could barely stop
I love books by Cecila Ahern, do you know her? She wrote "P.S. I love you" and she writes wonderful.
and then there are a few classics: "The little prince" is very cuite, wonderful and special. i love this book. in such an easy language he managed to write so senseull! ... what else comes to my mind? I really dont know..
The only books i cant read are mathbooks at school (boring!!^^) ( ) and thrillers...
what was the last book you read?
No, i never heard about your president Tarja Halonen.. and i dont know how many people live in finland - i dont even know how many people live in germany!! So do you know, how many people live in germany? Do you know the name of our president? And do you know our capital?
Well, i ve travelled a little bit, but ive only been in Europe. I have been to Italy, Spain, France, Hungary, Belgium, the Netherlands,... and i ve driven throuh Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg.. i dont know. i ever wanted to go to sweden - a friend of mine has been there and doesnt stop telling me how beautiful this country is. I dont know - is sweden very different from finland? Sweden, Norway and Finland - i usually think about these three countries if i hear the name of one of them. and i always swap the names of the capitals.. my look, that helsinki was right
Where have you been in germany? Why did you like it?
Oh, Moulin Rouge is very beautiful, i like this movie! Yes, i like the Harry-Potter-movies, but i think the books were much better than the movies are... What about Titanic? Thats one of the movies I watched a million times^^..
well.. what money had we before the euro? what is the most famous german singer/actor/poet? What do you know about German people - how did they appear to be to you when you visited germany?
Tschss

Hallohallo!
No, unfortunately i haven't read books of Cecilia Ahern. "P.S I love you" sounds interesting book. My favourite finnish writter is called Tuija Lehtinen. She has very good books! The last book which i read was called "Rakkautta" (= Love). It was so bad, but i had to read it for school. I didn't understand the story at all :s
Well, the capital of germany is Berlin. But then..i know only Angela Merkel, but i think she is not a president. I guess there are 82 mil. people in germany, (i'm not sure). In finland is about 5,2 million (only)
Wow, you have travelled much! I want to go Italy and Spain too. What land do you like the most?
Hmm... Sweden and finland are very same kind of lands. In sweden everything is more developed, because it has been independent longer time than finland. In norway everything is really expensive! The standard of living is very high there. And the nature is very different! But finland, sweden and norway are very same kind of.
I have been in berlin, dresden and hoyerswerda. We did a trip from school, because hoyerswerda is our partnerstadt, ob du weisst One of the best trips what i have ever done! Especially berlin was soooo cool city. What parts of germany have you been?
Before the euro you had DM (= Deutsche Mark?). Do you know what money we had before? I know only few singers/bands from germany, but rammstein is the most famous here I know some german supermodels Claudia Schiffer and Heidi Klum. But actors and poets... no idea!
Have you ever heard anything about finns? As what kind of people we are. I have seen many texts that germans are "stiff and they have bad jokes". But nooo, not at all
I have seen Titanic too. That's very classical movie.
Ciao,
