Hi everybody
About pronunciation: whenever I listen (or should I say hear?) someone saying "island", it seems to me that the pronunciation is actually "iland".
Am I right? If so, is the pronunciation of "isle" similar to "island"?

Hi Alexandra!
As you think "island" is pronouned without the "s" so it sounds more or less like /ailand/ and "isle" is pronunced /ail/ (again without -s) |
