|
|
Hello, there
I hope you can help me with these 2 questions.
QUESTION 1:
How do we answer the next question by using pronouns to substitute the two complements?
Do you give presents to all your relatives at Christmastime?
Check this answer, Is it grammatically correct?
YES, I GIVE THEM TO THEM AT CHRISTMASTIME.
QUESTION 2:
Since we can ask
Did it rain last night?
Can we also ask
Does it rain now?
I will appreciate your help. Thanks in advance

1. "Do you give presents to all your relatives at Christmastime?"
A better answer would be, "Yes, I give them some then."
2. You would not hear a native speaker say, "Does it rain now?" You would hear, "Is it raining now?" _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
