Does revolt mean revolution or they are just similar in a way?
It's now Chinese New Year season and time to reminsce the good old time.
Does that sound okay?:

A revolt is usually very short whereas a revolution is a long process that brings drastic changes. Think of a revolt (rebellion) as the beginning of a long revolution (overthrow of a government).

I would word it this way: "Now it is Chinese New Year, [a] time to reminisce about the good old days." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
