Hi, there.
Look at the following sentence.
'He writes emails to his friends every day.'
I'd like to ask you two questions about this sentence.
Question #1:
Is the word 'email' a countable noun?
Question #2:
Do you use the phrase 'write an email[emails]'?
In my opinion, the sentence sounds funny or awkward.
The sentence should be:
'He sends email to his friends every day.' or
'He emails his friends every day.'
What do you think?
I'm waiting for your answers.
Thanks. |

I wrote him an email this morning and he hasn't answered yet.
It is assumed that after you write an email you send it. _________________ I'm never going to learn if you don't correct my mistakes! |
