when I was reading a book, I met a sentence which I couldn't understand.
"two-point-two children". I looked up the word,"two-point-two" in several dictionaries but I couldn't find the meaning. In the context of the book, it seems that having two-poin-two children is symbolic of happy family.
Could you please tell me the meaning of this word? |

It means 2.2, and of course you can't really have 2.2 children. However, if they interview a lot of people, and find out that the happiest ones have X number of children, and then find the average number of children, it could come out to 2.2. |
