Hi Everybody,

can you tell me what in the belowe sentence "top-end model" is?

Choose a top-end model and we will give you a 10% discount.

TIA,

Kate.

When you buy something, like a car, there are often many different models. For example, Toyota makes a Corolla, a Camry, a Celica, etc. (I don't know if they still make those particular models, but that's my example!)

The "top-end" models are the more expensive ones. The Corolla, for example, is not a top-end model.

Another related expression is "top of the line."

For example, Cadillac used to have (and probably still does have) several models of sedans, including Coupe de Ville, Sedan de Ville, and Eldorado. The Eldorado was the top of the line.
