Yes, it does matter which sport.
In baseball, the team manager is really the head coach, with other coaches working for him--the pitching coach, the batting coach, the fielding coach, the first- and third-base coaches, et al.
In other sports, the manager is in charge of equipment and travel and lodging, etc., but has nothing to do with coaching the players. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
