Hi,
Stay with XP for now. Vista is bug ridden (it has many mistakes). It should be better about a year from now. When XP first came out, it was the same. Just be patient, Vista will be a great OS by 2008.

I like Office 2007 very much, especially word and Power Point. So far Office 2007 has run perfectly for me and I have not encountered a single problem. Once you get use to the different style, it really is more efficient.

Changing from XP to Vista is no problem. It is many other factors that are problems with Vista. One major problem is the conversion to Direct X 10. Many software companies are having problems with debugging their software because Vista is an unfinished product.

I would really wait at least 8 more months. At least.

Well I think that there are a lot of programs that doesn't works with vista... because it is so new, Some day I recived a e-mail from a program (power DVD) in the e-mail the said that there is a parch for the vista... I think that a lot of programas has their parch, but that means that you have to look for them..... I think that a lot of this programs without the parch will work, but with mistakes... so stay with XP Rolling Eyes

For me is hard to find new programs and is more hard for vista... dont you thing?
