I read a sentence:
Mother's Day is on the second Sunday in MAy.
Q: Is the preposition, in, right?
Isn't it of? -->Mother's Day is on the second Sunday of MAy.

of May sounds accurate.
in May isn't grossly wrong either. |

Both are correct. In the article "Mother's Days in various parts of the world" Wikepedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother's_Day, uses the prepostion "in". _________________ I'm never going to learn if you don't correct my mistakes! |
