Dear Teachers,
1a. Are you awake now?
1b. Are you awake yet?
- Which sentence is more natural?
2a. How many hours a day do you work?
2b. How many hours per day do you work?
- Which sentence is more natural?
Thanks a lot to Teachers,

In 1. Both are OK, but don't mean quite the same thing.
In 2. both are OK, but probably you will hear 2 a. more often. |

1. Both are natural.
2. Both are correct, but most people would choose a, I think. (At least that's true for American English. It could be different in other English-speaking countries.) |
