1. It's a much nicer way to say, "Tough s h i t" (or "To hell with what you want").
2. Yes, against her wishes.
3. I think it's a reference to Uri Geller, a self-described mentalist. He claims, for example, to be able to bend a spoon with only his thoughts. So he operates beyond the four dimensions (width, length, depth, time) that the rest of the human world operates in.
4. Adapt to the changes.
5. It's a metaphor - as if baking a cake where woderfulness is one of the ingredients.
6. Yes, until something better comes along.
7. It's confronting someone's actions or words instead of politely accepting them. Or to put it another way, it's not letting them get away with saying someting absurd or doing something that bothers you.
8. It has to be the time. It sounds like they all had a bet on when she would leave. |

Serengetti is a famous place in Africa.
Entry-level processor is a person / job which generally involves putting data into a computer. Entry-level means it is the person's first job in this field or area of work.

4. What does" roll with them" mean?
Boxers are told to "roll with the punches," or move the same way as the punch goes, to lessen the impact. If someone says to roll with something, it usually means to take things in stride, don't resist too much and make it worse. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
