We had a big news in my country lately that one little kid, less than 1 year old, got hit by his nanny. The kid was really injured and doesn't seem to be able to come back to normal again.

His parents hire this nanny from professional child care center and paid quite an expensive price per month. They have to work for money so they do not have time to take care of the kid by themselves.

It is not known yet why the nanny has to do that but it seems like she has a little mental problem.

We understand that life is so competitive. People are working so hard to earn money but is money really an important thing in life? Should one of them just quit the job and take care of the kid? I'm sure they will if they could turn back time.

Or we have a better way to prevent this sad story???

Preferably one of the parents should be with the child.
In India, it is common for kids to be left in the care of grandparents.
It is better to send the child to a day-care rather than have a nanny come home. This way, the child will be happy in the company of other children.

Some nannies do have a terrible mental problem. that's why.

In my hometown, many people hire nannies for their children, and something scary often happens to the kids. For example, a nanny gave the kid painkiller pills everyday so that the kid could fall asleep easily, then the nanny could watch TV in peace; another nanny laid on the sofa with her toe in the baby's mouth, then the baby sucked her toe in excitement, and then the nanny could watch TV too.

These cold-hearted nannies definitely have some psychological problems. they can't stand these rich kids living a cozy life, compared with those kids and these families, those nannies have very little money, so they can't stand such a big disparity. that causes their hatred towards the kids.

Fortunately, my daughter had never suffered from nanny's torture. My mom took care of her very well when she was a baby.

Redrose..

Your incidents sound so terrible. How could you believe that humans could have done this to each other, especially for little kids.....??

Perverted and cold-hearted people exist everywhere.

If the parents really cared for their children they wouldn't have searched such nannies for their children. And as the parents are fully responsible for their babies, it's the parent's own fault.

BTW: Money is still important
