I have been staying here for one and half year.
Q: Do we have to add s at the end of the word year when it comes to the following situations?
1.one and half years
2.two and half years
3.thirty and a half years
Thank you |

No one says "one and half year(s)"; they say 'a year and a half'.
'two and a half years' is correct. Don't forget the "a" before "half". |

| I think I might use either "a year and a half" or "one and a half years" depending on how I felt at the time. They both sound okay to me. |
