Dear teachers,
Should I use the verb "name" hereunder in the third person singular?
"Jean and Alison each nameS the school they consider best."
Many thanks,

On the other hand, in "Each of_____", 'each' is the subject and the verb is singular, even though a plural noun follows "each of". Each of them names_______ |
