We had a great trip up to the Great Wall while we were in Beijing. There were six in our group. It was an overnight package. They picked us up in Beijing at our hostel. They had sleeping bags and mats for us to sleep in a watchtower. The trip included excellent Chinese food and all we wanted to drink. We actually drank a lot of beer sitting on the wall under the stars until late. In the morning we woke up on the wall and they served us fresh coffee which was nice. Good western breakfast. The trips are run by an American guy who lives in Beijing. Check out his web site on and the sleep http://www.thechinaguide.com or the sleep on the wall tour info is on

You know, though I am a Chinese, I haven't been there yet.

You'd be surprised how common that is in every country. Lots of people have never been to the big tourist attractions in their own country. I've traveled to more countries than I have states in my own country.
