what's the meaning of "established" and " hitting on" in the below context?
Rachel: Look Daddy, it's my life. Well maybe I'll just stay here with Monica.
Monica: Well, I guess we've established who's staying here with Monica...
Joey: (comforting Rachel) And hey, you need anything, you can always come to Joey. Me and Chandler live across the hall. And he's away a lot.
Monica: Joey, stop hitting on her! It's her wedding day! |

Zeppy, your interest in "Friends" is certainly a great way to learn how English is actually spoken among family and friends.
established (in this context) - made it clearly understood
to hit on - to make a pass at (another idiom) = to try to gain the interest of someone you are sexually attracted to |
