Is it natural to say "someone backed in the slammer again" ?
or is there any slang for it?

Not quite.
You can say, "Well, Joe got busted (arrested) last Saturday. He's back in the slammer / the hoosegow / jail / the gray-bar motel / chokey / the can / the hole again."
You don't want to say that Joe backed into jail, because that means he walked backward or drove his car backward into jail. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
