Hello,

He works in that company.
He works in/at the office.

Is 'in' or 'at' the correct preposition in the above sentences? If not, could you please tell me the correct ones?

You have put the correct sentences in there so well done.

For the first one, we use 'in' to describe something being a member of something else such as " he is a member of that team".

"at' is more often used to denote a physical location so "he plays at school" or "the book is at the library". In most cases however you could also use "in" to denote where something took place, sometimes it is a matter of context such as when you are trying to stress that it was inside something rather than outside it.

I would most often use "in" for inside buildings and "at" for outside places and always use "in" for organisations or groups.
