Is it natural to say, " I have many valuable/ precious friends"?
It sounds natural to say, " My friends are valuable/precious to me," but somehow it sounds a bit awkward to use "valuable" or "precious" with friends. Why? Is it simply because I haven't been exposed those expressions?

I have many valuable friends.
I value their friendship.
Yes, I would feel comfortable using the word valuable to refer to a friend.
