My hobbies are film making and film editing, designing, arts and crafts, salsa and belly dancing.

Is that correct?

Thanks

Yes, fine.

I prefer a comma before the final "and" to avoid confusion, but most people omit it.

That's interesting, because I interpreted it differently, and was going to suggest: My hobbies are film making and film editing, designing, arts and crafts, and salsa and belly dancing. (I thought the salsa and bellly dancing were two kinds of dancing, and therefore needed an "and" before)

Perfect example why the final comma is needed. I read it as "salsa, and belly dancing." Salsa is a type of music and a type of dancing, so it was a little ambiguous, but I assumed it meant salsa music.

If it had read, ". . ., and salsa and belly dancing" it would have meant exactly ". . ., and salsa dancing and belly dancing."

That's funny. I would have written it as CP prefers. I was assuming salsa was the same as my salsa hobby: eating corn chips with salsa dip! Wink
