I use Ares lite. It has a great performance but i dont know if it is the best because i never used another type of programs in this gnre.
What do you recommend me?

I like Azureus, you can download it here: http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php. It is available for Mac users too.

It uses torrent files to download whatever you want. You can use http://www.torrentz.com to search for whatever you want. When you find it you can download the torrent file directly from the website, this file is very small. Then you take that file and drag it from whatever folder it is in directly into Azureus and presto! your file starts to download.

The good thing about torrent files is that you are downloading from a lot of different people at the same time, and everyone who is downloading is also uploading whatever they already have. Also, you are sharing not only with people who are using Azureus (which is a lot anyway), but with also with anyone who is using any other type of torrent downloader, such as BitTorrent. This way the files go faster, and everyone wins!
