Does that mean "by the way"?
2.What time doe your shop open?
Is that how you say it?
3.This week, I have campers from age 12 to 18.
or
This week, I have campers from the age of 12 to 18.
4What are some synonyms for "speaking of something", when you want to suddenly bring up a topic?
5Before I came here, no one really knew which part of the world Taiwan
*was* in.
Or should I put *is*?

1. "Speaking of which" means "Now that we are on that topic, . . . ." It can be used instead of "By the way" sometimes.
2. What time does your shop open? / When does your shop open? / What time do you open?
3. "This week, I have campers from the age of 12 to 18" is preferable. You can also say, "This week, I have campers aged 12 to 18."
4. "That reminds me." "Now that you mention it, . . . ." "Not to change the subject, but . . . . [and then change the subject!]" "Dig this: . . . ."
5. Probably "is" is better, since it isn't moving much. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
