I like tea brew with cold water?
or
I like tea brewed with cold water?
If the second sentence is correct, please explain why if it is possible. |

The second sentence is correct. "brewed with cold water" is an adjective phrase describing "tea". "brewed" can serve as an adjective but 'brew' cannot.
I like tea (that is) brewed with cold water. |

I thought to brew tea meant to steep tea in hot, usually boiling water. Other than that, I agree with 2006.
As for Kerstin's questions, I think you want to say, "My hobby is brewing tea" or "Brewing tea is one of my hobbies." "I like to brew tea" is also correct. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
