Last night, I phoned a restaurant to order food. By the time I got to the restaurant the food was there for me to pick up.

Is there a term for it?

Thanks

I'm not sure what term you are looking for. The food was ready when you got there?

You could say, "I ordered it to go" or "I ordered it for pick up."

Our local deli doesn't deliver, but when I call them, I'll say "I'd like to place an order for pick-up." In British English, I believe it is called "take-away".

I sometimes order Chinese food or pizza to go, or as take-out.
