Ads on *op-ed* pages and lobbying of officials.
a newspaper page, usually opposite the editorial page, that features articles expressing opinion
Is an op-ed page usually on the third page? The first page is the front cover, second is the editorial page, third the *op-ed*?

I think it depends on the newspaper. My paper's editorial and opinion pages are the two before the back page of the main section. |

The first has the editorials and letters to the editor. The second has the opinion pieces and sometimes an ad expressing opinion. Even though there are two pages, I think it is still referred to as the Op-Ed page (singular). |
