my american friend Bill leave me a message as follow
"Hi Eddie, Glad to get your message. We are still in Wuhan but leaving for Shanghai tomorrow.
Hope your ride here was fine.
This is the first time I have checked into QQ.
Was nice to meet you on the ship. I can't read chinese so I do not know how to move you to my "Buddy" list. In USA I use am english version of QQ so I can figure it out. ��
Better run, my friend is waiting."

But I can't understand the sentence "Hope your ride here was fine" and "Better run".Eddie is my English name.

Can anybody help me?Thank you very much!

"Hope your ride here was fine" = I hope you had a safe journey.
"Better run" = I have to go now.
