Hi,
Do you consider demo a prefix or a root? I think the word has two roots, Greek demos, and -graphy, another root. Does it make sense?
Thanks.

I think it does. There are a lot of multi-rooted words in any language (at least in Russian and English). |

You might also consider...
demos - (Greek =of the people)
-graphy - suffix forming nouns that denote a method or style of writing, drawing etc., or a descriptive science, such as geography, or demography. |

Ok, that is my question, is -graphy a suffix or root?
Thanks.
