Do you have a camera and can you take pictures or get the children to take pictures of things in sequence - their day at school, their activities in another class, how they get ready for school, etc.? They can do this in small groups and give their results to another group to order and then talk about it or write about it.

Draw stick figure cartoons for some activity (setting up camp, cooking breakfast, saddling a horse, etc.), and have them put things in order. Make it like Simon Says, where they can't do something until they hear the sequence words first (NEXT.... ok, AFTER THAT...).
