Dear Head..
I've been looking for info regarding MA TESOL as well. The best way that worked for me so far is "googling" it. Think where you want to do it, how much you want to pay and log on to www.google.com and see what's there.
I don't know about the US, but in the Middle East, for instance, the American University is offereing it. If you are interested in traveling, why not find a job and do it while working?
Let me know how things went ...

MA TESOL

The University of Nevada in Reno has an MA TESOL but I don't know much about it. If anyone is actually in this program, I'd like to know what you think as I'm thinking of applying myself.

MA TESL programs in Philadelphia, PA

Post by hazyjane » Wed Jun 22, 2005 1:44 am

I just finished my MA in TESL last December. I attended West Chester University in West Chester, PA (about 45 minutes west of Philadelphia). It was a great program - very hands on and practical. The University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) also has an MA in TESL, but it is a much more expensive program.

The program at West Chester focused on Second Language Acquisition, Sociolinguistics, Methods and Materials of ESL/EFL, etc. I would be happy to e-mail off the message board or answer any questions you may have. I've had multiple job offers since I finished and am currently teaching at an Adult ESL program at a business school in Philadelphia.
