ignore

Post by Itasan » Sun Oct 30, 2005 6:29 am

SHIKATO (suru)
It's a Japanese slang word for 'ignore'.
"She hates me. She ignores me in public."
Something like that.
Are there similar slang words in English?
Thank you.

Itasan, I've been tempted to make this suggestion many times before, and am now finally making it  ...would it be possible for you to create a new thread with a title something like 'Itasan's miscellaneous queries', and confine your posts just to there? People would still be able to see whenever you have a new query (it would still shoot back up to the top of the forum), and the BUSINESS English forum would perhaps remain at less than ten pages for a few years yet (thus makiing it easier for people searching for the more relevant among previous posts).
