Teaching English with songs/music

Post by Azaia » Thu Mar 23, 2006 10:52 pm

Does anyone know of any good resource material I can buy to teach English with famous songs, e.g. The Beetles, Elvis etc...You know... songs that are more likely to be known worldwide. I was looking for activity ideas (preferably in the form of books) accompanied by cassettes, CDs etc.

Heinemann Hits is very good. Maybe it's called Heinemann ELT Hits...

Even if you don't like the selection of songs, there are lots of ideas which can be adapted to the songs you want to use.
