My name is Linda. I have my TEFL Certificate and have taught ESL for the past two summers. I liked it so much that I am now getting a BA in Communications to make me more marketable as an EFL teacher. I am currently enrolled in a research class where we have to interview participants on the website of our choice. Since I was already familiar with Dave's ESL Cafe, this was my first choice. I have only recently become involved in the Teacher Forums, but like it so much that I have decided to narrow my focus to this forum. If any of you would be willing to help me out by answering 10 questions about how this site met your initial needs/wants when you first began participating here, and how that may have changed the longer you participated, I would be most grateful. Please contact me privately and I will sent you the questions.
Whether you respond or not, thanks for taking the time to read my request for help.
Linda

Questions as Conversation Starters???
Since I have not received any responses to my initial request for volunteers (I don't blame you, who has time for questionnaires???), I decided to post my questions here so you can answer any, all, none, or merely use these questions as a conversation starter. Although your responses, for purposes of my research class, will be completely anonymous (not even be related to your log-on identity), please feel free to post either here, or to me privately. Many thanks for any help you can give me with this. (This is a very introductory research class which is why I can be so flexible regarding whether you answer all, some, or none of these questions).
