My adults are usually fond of varied topics, cultural and political ones, but they need a very low level.

Hmm, I don't know quite why you'd want your low level adults to translate anything, but if you are looking for sorta controversial topics, there are a couple on-line sites that have suitable articles for adults. (I don't recommend translation however
)

My students are taking an exam next summer (they're in the Spanish Army) and they're supposed to be able to translate a short paragraph.
I really hate when my students try to translate any word they face, but that's what these are asked to do. I keep on telling them "More imagination, less translation".
