3 English grammar questions you often get asked...?

Post by chriscurwen » Tue Oct 26, 2010 12:00 pm

Hi,

I'm researching common English grammar questions that students (elem-int level) often ask in class.

Would you mind helping me by adding 3 questions below that YOU often get asked when teaching.

Thanking you all in advance, your help is very much appreciated.

Best wishes,

Chris Curwen

Spanish speakers often ask:

(1) about the meaning of the 'dummy auxiliary' verb do in questions

(2) why we use the ordinal numbers in dates

(3) why "I born..." is wrong!

Good luck
