Anyone know how to contact Karl Dee? I'm tired of getting spammed. I thought one reason we are supposed to have a moderator is to remove the crap.

Irritatedly yours,

I second that!

Hey all!

I second Lorikeet's gripe. Karl Dee hasn't contributed to the forum since February of 2003 and I wonder if he still exists as a member of our little community. In any case, if he has volunteered to moderate, I wonder if he considers the control over spam (and in passing, abusive posts) part of his responsibilities. Karl, if you are out there, if you read this, don't take it personally, but I think you ought to do something about this problem (and in passing, perhaps take a more active part in the forum, but that is a very personal opinion....)

peace,
revel.

Okay that does it. I sent a PM to Karl; whether he still is around or not is still in question. If anyone has an "in" with Dave, you can tell him to get cracking  .

Wow that sure is a lot of spam. I wonder if the spammer thought of making them CENSORED (lest the spammer latch onto a way to make him/herself even more of a menace) - at least then we wouldn't have to go quite so far down the (repeated) spam to get to the genuine posts...

Well, I sent Dave an e-mail too. We'll see if it helps.
