Twitting aside, Dick Clark did quite a lot of very good work for race relations through music and television, and hats off to him for this (among many other things). |

I'm sure he was as nice a fellow as all have said. But not everybody outside of the US will have a clue as to who he was.
Few of my US colleagues seem to know who John Peel is.

I always thought he had a youthful charm that came through the eyes despite the surgery and hair dye...like he really loved life, music, and being on tv. |
