Does anyone have any success stories of teachers in Turkey who have got out of TEFL and are making a living doing something else in Turkey. By getting out I mean right out of TEFL.

A friend is in Testing, one works as an editor and an old friend now works selling text books to schools.
The coolest of them all is chap from the U.K who never worked as a teacher, but as a carpert saleman to rich westerners Cool

I worked for about 4 years as a research assistant for an international bank. It paied well, yet I had to travle all over the country.

You can get work in other areas, but you need to know Turkish and how the country works.
