Hi, Ive heard this is a nice place to visit, but I was wondering about the cost of living there? Is it cheap or cheaper than big cities? Accomadation etc..?

Ive heard it has quite a few big expensive hotels and was wondering does that mean the place is kinda up,arket and therefore expensive??

Thanks

Cha Am is just down the road (well about 20 mins by bus) and is far cheaper.
A lot of people I know pay about 3000 baht a month for a modest two/three bedroomed house there. I paid 4000 for a fully furnished house (just a six month lease though, during the low season)

Thats good news! While we're on the topic, what would be the best and most cost-effective way to Hua-Hin(from Bangkok), Im not a big fan of the buses. what about a train?

Thanks
