Hi, Ive heard this is a nice place to visit, but I was wondering about the cost of living there? Is it cheap or cheaper than big cities? Accomadation etc..?
Ive heard it has quite a few big expensive hotels and was wondering does that mean the place is kinda up,arket and therefore expensive??
Thanks |

Cha Am is just down the road (well about 20 mins by bus) and is far cheaper.
A lot of people I know pay about 3000 baht a month for a modest two/three bedroomed house there. I paid 4000 for a fully furnished house (just a six month lease though, during the low season) |

Thats good news! While we're on the topic, what would be the best and most cost-effective way to Hua-Hin(from Bangkok), Im not a big fan of the buses. what about a train?
Thanks |
