I'm not one person with lots of IDs, rather lots of different people with one ID.

I think anyone who posts on here is complete t.ool and we should all be ashamed of ourselves, including me and especially DMB.

The cheek of it, really, in my day..............

I actually have a tool dilemna at the moment. The hinge on the wardrobe is b*ggered and so I need to reset it. Do I pay 20 ytl to get a man come round and fix it or do I go to Koctas and buy my own drill for x ytl and forever be a proud drill owner. what do you reckon?

There are some important factors to consider when pondering drill ownership:

If you got the drill, can you use it well enough to make sure the hinge doesn't break again? Or, can you at least use it better than the guy you'd pay 20 million?

Do you have a place to store the drill, and do you want to keep moving it around with you?

Do you think you'll have other things in your life you might want to drill?

Most importantly about drills, they're *REALLY FREAKING COOL*, especially the rechargeable ones that come with a lot of different bits and magnetic tips and that can go backwards for removing screws, so even if you might just use it one other time in your life, and even if it may have to live permanently on the kitchen table, and even if you can't use it very well, it's really very good to have your own drill.

And my wardrobe is broken too! I wish I needed a drill to fix it, but I think we'll just pay the kapıcı to use his screwdriver. I had a screwdriver til last Monday, when it quit working so I got mad and bashed it with a hammer to find out why, and it really stopped working after that.

Get a guy to fix the hinge and buy a drill. Then you can play the drill in my Beach Boys cover band. We don't have a theramin, but I reckon a drill would be just as good.

dmb, get the drill! I need to hang some curtain rails in my new flat and need a drill for that. Ive had too many crappy kapici jobs done (hello! light switches installed at 30 degree angles offside! balkon slide locks that dont actually fit together! Agh!). I think we could at least get things on the level.

Lots of good advice. I do worry about my fiancee's health though. If I bought a drill I'd end up putting shelves everywhere and she'd bang her head every time she walked into a room.

WARNING.... very old TEFL joke.

What is a drill?

A device for boring.

Golighty, have you got the keys?

What's a relative clause?
When they visit, you have to put them up.
