Flintoff's been dropped against Canada for orchestrating a late night boozing session ... pity the ozzies didn't do the same in the ashes ...

There was talk of him being sent home ... but he soon scotched those rumours ...

Sorry England make hard work of Canada ...

Canada's best player, the hangover that was evidently plaguing the English team, caused England plenty of headaches and discomfort in a match that should have been a spot of practice for their Serious Clobber Department ...

Without a grounded Flintoff, England's firepower looked woeful with six guns KP managing but a solitary four and opener Ed Joyce taking almost a 100 balls for his fifty - the mainly English crowd actually cheering when he was finally sent packing for 66 ...

It was left to wicket keeper Nixon to provide the fireworks with an explosive 23 off 8 balls in the dying stages ... runs that proved invaluable in keeping the finger off the panic button as Canada slowly made their way towards the English total ..
