I miss easy accessability to fresh, hot sturdy multigrain, sourdough or rye breads... not just the vaguely kepekli things, and certainly not those faux-multigrain chemically sponge-fests you find wrapped up in plastic and pre sliced in the grocery stores. Yes, I know you can get some nice breads at Carrefour and occasionally at the mega Migros and in bakeries in more affluent neighbourhoods (the only times when I really miss living in Erenkoy/Suadiye are when I miss the food selection) but i live nowhere near any of them and it's frustrating having to go an hour out of my way if I want something that isn't government bread or those bland white square Tost things.

That could be most excellent. Mind you, turning a winter drink into a summer frozen product would probably destroy my ovaries and give me a cold and I'd get sick and die.

was thinking again.....you make icecream from a custard base. Perhaps if you add salep powder to the milk that you make the custard, it should become salep icecream.
