| How hard is it to find a place to rent in Riyadh and what's the average rent per month? |

rent per month could range from sr 8,000 to sr 80,000.
very helpful, isn't it? well that's what you get when you don't tell us what size you want, and how upscale of a location you want. |

Assuming the rents are similar to what they are in Jeddah (which is a good assumption), I would say SR. 17,000 to SR. 25,000 (completely bare) would net you a place in a decent area.
Those who have been in Riyadh feel free to correct me. |

Do you have a job offer in SA?
I believe almost all of your visa, housing and rent, dependants accompanying you, spouse getting a job there too, and most of the other questions you have been posting WILL have been answered IF you have a firm offer and are perparing to leave for the kingdom.
At least I think so!

| thanks for the info. We do have 1 potential offer with the option of either staying in their facilities or finding our own place and they give us a lump sum, so we were trying to see which was better. |

We are talking about Riyadh, not Manhattan!!!!
And the place you have been offered, is it a compound attached to the place where you will be working, separate compound, what facilities are in it, is it fully firnished, what lump sum have you been offered in lieu...???
You have to tell us all these things if you want people to help you decide. |

Sorry for the lack of info, I didn't think people would care to know every last detail.
No, the job offer was not from Bell Centres, it was from King Faisal School. My husband received an email Sunday night with somewhat of an offer however we haven't heard back from them as of yet so we're not sure if the offer still stands.... |
