I am trying to leave Taiwan and get a job in Japan! But, I can't even Shane said no!! Why is it so hard to het a job over there!! Don't wana work for NOVA! Can someone offer advice?

Now is the worst time of year traditionally to find full-time work. NOVA's situation has made things worse.
My advice:
1. Plan ahead. Scour the Internet and decide what jobs look good to you. The two you wrote about in your OP were IMO among the worst anyway.
2. Make plans to come here after January. Then contact those potential employers and let them know when you are coming.
3. Have enough money to support yourself for 3 months. |

| You have to be physically in Japan to have a chance of getting a good job. Only the 'big' companies bring people over. Also, be prepared for rejection. For every 10 resumes you send out only one is likely to get a response. There are simply too many teachers in Japan at the moment. |

This "Elliot Spencer" seems to be teaching all over the world at the moment! 
And has been doing this for the last year or two.
Here Elliot_Spencer , on May 4, 2007, says that he is already in Japan and "Working for one of the BIG 4":
