| Are there any good EFL jobs in Imdramayu? What's it like to live there? Is there any good reason to go there? What are the people like? |

| Indramayu is a small town. Nothing much happens there except the production of dried fish and the unloading of oil tankers at the terminal. I have never heard of ESL teaching jobs in that area. |

I'm curious as to your interest in selecting this city?
Apart from what Malu mentions, Indramayu is most notoriously known as a major supply area for migratory sex workers. This includes both adult women and children. The district is also know for pre-arranged marriages at a very early age. Often with girls as young as 10-12 years.
There is a lack of industry in the town and very few employment options. I seriously doubt you could secure a regular english teaching gig there. |

So much so that many women will not admit they come from there, claiming instead to come from nearby Semarang. However, for many Indramayu parents, a daughter means guaranteed employment and money... |
