Unless your course involves teaching practise, then it's not as good as a normal course. in my opinion.

I advise posting your question on the Mexico Forum.

I'm DoS for one of the biggest global EFL providers.I can tell you that any decent employer will not look kindly on an on-line training qualification at entry level.

It's imperative to do the CELTA or Trinity TESOL.

Do not accept anything less - it's a waste of time and money.

I believe some schools will run the CELTA part time?

Biggest doesn-t always mean the best. Second SIT is also a good one. Third there are heaps of generic courses that are good as well.

OP, there's a reason the online course is cheaper. Save up and do the real thing. It will stand you in much better stead.

Regarding which real thing to do...check out the thread on the topic of online certs.

Best,
Justin

PS- When you start teaching, please use capital letters in the classroom.
