Not me, but I've read about them.
Essentially, you get paid to dance like a monkey (a la Aston or EF) while at the same time flogging Disney films.

I find it interesting that so many newly-registered posters are showing such an interest in Disney English.
I can just imagine a big pow-wow in Disney's Shanghai HQ, after which lackeys scurry off to register Dave's accounts, to help 'spread the word'.

| Made the mistake of doing some weekend work with them. Try thinking of Tony Robbins on steroids and then having to be even more positive then that. Practice your fake smile and happy talk and you will fit in. No room for reality there. |

Just got a bit more info in on this one:
Pay sounds ok, if they stick to it: 10,000 RMB/ month plus 4,600 RMB for housing (that's quite a fat housing allowance, would love to know if they honor that).
Also, it's a 40-hour work-week, 12-8 during the week, all day on weekends, with 2 days off.
Probably not bad for fresh young graduates from N. America (they don't accept Brit/ Kiwi/ OZ accents apparently) looking for an easy way to get to Shanghai (particularly young peppy blonds). |

The way I understand this .. is 8 hour day, 40 hours per week which would be 5 days .... and two of them on the weekend leaving two during the week as off days...work hours would of cource be during the after noon and evening hours during the week and during the day on the weekends.. |

Given Disney's record of other ventures in China, such as purchasing goods from factories which employ fifteen year olds who, after two years of labour abuse, end up sacrificed for the production of Donald Duck birthday cards, the company's foray into the education sector will be anything but positive.
